Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Filioni ("we", "our", or "the app") helps you turn a plain-English description of your day into events on your Google Calendar. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

Information We Access

When you connect your Google account, Filioni accesses only the Google Calendar information needed to provide its scheduling features. This includes:

This information is accessed only after you authorize Filioni through Google's OAuth consent screen.

Filioni does not request or access your Gmail, Contacts, Google Drive, Google Photos, or any other Google services.

When you type a scheduling request into Filioni, the text you enter is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a proposed schedule. This text is processed according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

How We Use Google User Data

Google Calendar information is used only to provide the features you request, including:

Google Calendar information is not used for advertising, profiling, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to providing Filioni's scheduling features.

Cookies We Use

Filioni uses two kinds of cookies:

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Filioni — for example, how many people connect a calendar, send a scheduling request, or approve a proposed schedule. These analytics events record counts and outcomes (such as how many events were in a draft, or whether a message was sent successfully) but never include the text you type, the titles of your calendar events, or any content from your conversation with Filioni.

Google Analytics is enabled only after you provide consent through the cookie banner displayed when you first visit the site. No analytics cookies are placed before you make a choice, and declining analytics does not affect your ability to use Filioni's core features.

Analytics information is used only to help us understand and improve Filioni and is not used for advertising.

How We Store Information

Your Google access tokens, your current conversation with Filioni, and your time zone are stored server-side in a database for the duration of your active session — up to 24 hours, or until you log out, whichever comes first. This database is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and is hosted by our infrastructure provider, Render.

This information is not retained beyond that window: it is automatically deleted when your session expires or when you log out, and it is not kept in a separate long-term archive.

How We Protect Information

Communication between your browser, Filioni, Google APIs, and Anthropic's API is encrypted using HTTPS.

Your Google access tokens are stored as described above, in an encrypted-at-rest database, only for the duration of your session. The actual content of your Google Calendar — event titles, dates, and times — is not separately stored or archived by Filioni: it is retrieved live from Google each time you view your upcoming events, and is created or deleted only in direct response to actions you take.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only when necessary to operate Filioni:

Filioni does not send Google Calendar data obtained through Google APIs to Anthropic. Only the scheduling request text that you enter is sent to Anthropic to generate a proposed schedule.

We do not transfer or sell Google user data to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

We share Google user data only as necessary to provide the features you request or as otherwise required by applicable law.

AI Processing

Filioni uses Anthropic's Claude API to convert the scheduling request you type into a structured schedule proposal.

Google Calendar data obtained through Google APIs is not used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

According to Anthropic's commercial API policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's models.

Google API Services User Data

Filioni's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information received from Google APIs is used only to provide or improve the user-facing features of Filioni. It is never sold, transferred, or used for advertising, and it is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Data Retention & Deletion

Filioni does not maintain a long-term archive of your Google Calendar information. Your Google access tokens and active conversation are retained only for the duration of your session (up to 24 hours of inactivity, or until you log out), after which they are automatically deleted from our database.

You can end your session and delete this data immediately at any time by logging out of Filioni. You can also revoke Filioni's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account's third-party access settings, which immediately invalidates any tokens Filioni holds.

Children's Privacy

Filioni is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date shown above. Your continued use of Filioni after those changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
